THE JOHN LEWIS AWARD

 2008

Here is a little history on the award.  Mike Lewis a long time member of the San Diego Region, National driver, Trans-Am driver and IMSA driver, established it.  Mike still races in National and Pro and in 2008 ran at Le Mans.  Mike is still giving back to our Club.   Mike wanted to give something back to the SCCA Workers who helped make his passion for racing possible. The award was set up to helps to fund a Worker’s trip to the SCCA National Runoffs.

After Mike’s dad John past away, Mike change the award’s name to honor to his Father who also loved racing and was always there when Mike raced.
