MotorsportReg.com will be offering the HPDE Insurance Program administered by Lockton Risk Services! Lockton Companies is the largest privately held insurance brokerage firm in the world. The program is a great value and is not just another insurance policy - it was designed specifically for the needs of HPDE attendees. Here are the highlights:

* Primary coverage for incidents in the paddock or on the circuit
* Covers primary driver, a co-driver and their instructor
* Agreed-value policy
* Covers modifications
* Single-event policies will be purchased online in 5-10 minutes

As you can see, this is a policy designed by enthusiasts for enthusiasts. Based on our feedback from organizers, we believe that this policy will help encourage nervous participants to try one of your events or permit your long-time participants to continue running when their insurance policy excludes their hobby.

Initially this program is being offered to "structured" driving event programs with classroom instruction, instructors provided for novice and intermediate students, passing only with a signal and a maximum spin rule or something similar that promotes keeping the car on track. Due to state laws, the program won't initially cover events in CT, OH, NM or NC but we should have a solution for those states within the next few months.

In the next couple of weeks, events on MotorsportReg.com from BMW CCA, PCA, Audi Club and TZC will begin displaying small promotional graphics for this program. The links will provide some general information about the program and link off to the details including a sign-up form at Lockton's website.
